INTRODUCTION

With rapid industrialization in India, there is growing need of water, which is fulfilled by industries by extracting ground water within permissible limit set by Central Ground Water Board (CGWB). To ensure this, they have made it mandatory for industries to install  Digital Water Level Monitoring System manufactured by approved vendor for online monitoring of ground water level.

OUR MONITORING SOLUTION

The first system was designed and installed at SKH Sheet Metals Components Pvt. Ltd. Techtrol IIoT based Digital Water Monitoring & Control System, consists of hydrostatic level transmitter, flowmeter alongwith IIoT GPRS gateway and GSM based pump switch housed in a control panel.

The hydrostatic transmitter continuously measures the borewell level and outflow (flow rate & total flow) is measured by flowmeter. This real time data is logged at a fixed interval of time in a cloud database and further processed & analyzed. It can viewed on PC or smartphone through URL or Mobile App. This data can be presented in analytical format of trends & bar graphs and can be downloaded in .csv format.

The pump is switched off automatically, when outflow from the borewell exceed the set limit and GSM based switch can start the pump remotely.     

THE FEEDBACK

The system was installed at SKH Sheet Metals Components Pvt. Ltd. in January 2021 and the real time data is monitored and controlled online by their authorized person. They have reported that the system is working satisfactorily. Since then we have supplied similar systems to many industries including Visaka Industries Ltd, Taikisha Engineering India Pvt. Ltd, Open Arch Design & Enviro Solutions LLP and CDET Explosive Industries and they have been working satisfactory.
